Chris is a Director for GMCS and has over 12 years of industry experience gained in the United Kingdom and the Middle East. In this time, Chris’ career has been spent managing projects and contracts at one of the UK’s leading construction companies across a variety of different sectors including civil, infrastructure and water.
Since relocating to the Middle East in 2015, Chris now specialises in assisting quantum experts in the preparation of quantum expert reports as well as drafting contractual claims and assessing costs in relation to prolongation, acceleration, disruption and other financial claims.
Chris has proficient experience of both main and subcontract conditions of various forms of contract and has been responsible for full project financial control, including forecasting and cost vs. value reporting. Chris also has extensive experience in the quantification and costing of construction works, including the valuation and management of change. This varied experience has exposed Chris to all aspects of commercial management and contentious disputes, at times involving QCs, lawyers, internal legal counsel and quantum/delay experts as well as contractors, subcontractors and suppliers’ representatives.
