Chris is a Director at GMCS and started his professional career in the construction industry in 2008. He has over 15 years industry experience and qualified as a Quantity Surveyor in the United Kingdom in 2014. For the most part, Chris’ career has been the delivery of professional quantity surveying services to employers and contractors in an array of sectors.

Since taking up residence in the Middle East in 2015, Chris has been providing quantum expert services in the forum of dispute resolution throughout the MENA region, and further afield, including Australia, South Africa, and the UK. He specialises in the analysis, preparation, and determination of quantum claims and has been lead assistant to respected quantum experts on numerous occasions throughout that time. Chris has also been instructed as a quantum expert by a leading law firm in relation to a high-value dispute in the UK.

Chris has extensive experience in the quantification and costing of construction works, including the valuation and management of change. This varied experience has exposed Chris to all aspects of commercial management and contentious disputes, at times involving leading Silks, counsel, quantum and delay experts, as well as contractors, subcontractors and suppliers’ representatives.

Chris is a Member of the CIArb, a Member of the Society of Construction Law in the Gulf, has a BSc degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, and awarded a Masters in Construction Law and Arbitration.
