Paul is a Director at GMCS he has over 23 years of experience gained, 21 of which have been in the Middle and the Far East, working on commissions in the UK, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Bahrain and the U.A.E.

Paul has worked on numerous high-value construction and infrastructure projects throughout these regions including major rail/metro, airports, oil and gas projects, combined cycle power generation and desalinisation plants, marine facilities, industrial process plants, commercial, residential and office developments, hospitals, high rise and super high rise (including the world’s tallest) towers and mixed-use developments.

Paul’s speciality is in contract administration and the preparation of contractual claims, expert witness reports and arbitral submissions. This includes supporting principles of entitlement, counterclaims and defence, reviews of contractual obligations and the analysis of construction programmes in order to establish cause and effect schedules to demonstrate costs for disruption.

In addition to Paul’s substantial experience in commercial management positions, he has gained key skills in pre-and post-contract responsibilities such as measurement (both site and drawing) of mechanical and electrical services, valuation and agreement of variations, financial analysis and preparation of reports, interim valuations, final accounts, cost planning, monitoring and management, preparation of supplemental agreements and tender preparation, evaluation, and negotiation.
